Job Description:
A company is looking for a Binding Authority Underwriter
Associate to support the underwriting process by assessing
applications and analyzing risk factors.
Key Responsibilities
Support the underwriter by analyzing complex risks and preparing
reports
Coordinate the quoting, binding, and issuance process while
maintaining accurate documentation
Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters, producers,
and brokers to achieve positive outcomes on high-risk business
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration or Risk
Management preferred
1+ year of related experience or in a similar role
Advanced analytical skills and technical expertise in underwriting
principles
Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line
licenses
Preferred: Associate in Insurance Services (AIS)
