Job Description:
A company is looking for a Desk Adjuster to handle Residential
Property CAT claims from a desk within the client's office.
Key Responsibilities
Examine claims forms and policies to determine coverage and analyze
property losses
Communicate the claim process effectively via written
correspondence and phone calls
Prepare reports and settle claims by determining liability and
issuing settlement checks
Required Qualifications
College degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Two years of experience adjusting residential property claims or
one year with prior military service
Current home state adjuster license, with willingness to obtain
additional licenses
Acceptable results on pre-employment screenings and background
checks
Experience in insurance, construction, or damage evaluation
preferred
