Job Description:
Position Overview: The Product Design Developer is responsible
for creating innovative products that meet customer needs and align
with market trends. This role involves collaborating with
cross-functional teams to develop prototypes, conduct user testing,
and refine product concepts to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Position Details: Work Environment:At Duluth Trading Company, we
value face-to-face interactions that foster our culture of
learning, creativity, and teamwork. The role is based at our
headquarters near Madison, WI. You will work in the office Monday
through Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays if
you prefer.What Youll Do:
- Drive sales and functionality through innovative, solution
based product design and development
- Work with cross functional teams to bring those products into
the business that follow DTC high standards
- Analyze customer insights, market sales, styles and industry
trends and present opportunities for growth
- Work with Material teams to research and develop fabrics,
trims, textile technologies that adhere to the high performance
standards of the DTC brand
- Build, manage and maintain vendor relationships to ensure
products are produced with the specified quality standards and
delivered on time
- Research, analyze and present findings of the competitive
marketplace and make recommendations for new product designs and
white space opportunities
- Create seasonal color palettes
- Manage seasonal designs and development utilizing corporate
development calendar
- Build all relevant seasonal information in PLM software
- Create product briefs and facilitate
illustration/photography/packaging requests
- Proofread catalog copy and product web pages for accuracy,
appropriateness and compliance
- Work with design leads to create key looks for seasonal
assortments that are compelling, on-brand, and support
merchandisings buy plans
- Facilitate product demonstrations
- Engagement with various test and trades panelsWhat Were Looking
For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design
- Equivalent work experience will be considered
- Must have Knits experience
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong Adobe Suite Skills - willing to learn new skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
from concept to completion with time constraints
- An understanding of fabric and garment construction from
schooling
- A strategic and critical thinker with forward vision
- Solution oriented and customer-focused
- A team player who fosters cross functional relationships
- Intermediate "all things Google" skills
- No Management Experience Required
- Authorization to work in the United States without

Range: $65,000 to $95,000/yearThis position is eligible to
participate in the company bonus program.Compensation listed is for
the full-time position at this specific location and is based on
several factors, including experience, and qualifications. Benefits
