  • TIER 1 and TIER 2 (off-shift/cardiac) Surgical Tech CVOR Traveler
  • 36 hours, Monday - Friday Variation 6:30am-7pm or 10:40am-11pm
  • Weekend call every 5th weekend
  • The Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room prior to surgery, promotes the safety of the patient during surgery, provides assistance to the surgeon during surgery, cares for the patient during surgery and cares for the instruments and supplies used in surgery.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
    • Strong cardiovascular, endovascular and peripheral vascular experience required.
    • BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY.
    • Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 hours per week, Monday - Friday
      • Variation shifts between 6:30am-7pm or 10:40am-11pm
      • Weekend call every 5th weekend
      • Weekday call week or biweekly
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
          • Additional Details
          • Required per Vaya standard.
          • Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position.
          • Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
