PS Companies is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Travel PS Companies is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for an opening based in Wausau, WI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position Float Requirements: to all inpatient units as needed Unit Specific Skillset: Post Surgical Care Unit post recovery after Pacu. 40 bed inpatient area that provides care along a continuum for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients. Unit Overview (Patient ratio, etc.): Nurse to pt ratio: day/pm 1:4 or 5, nights 1:5- 7 Fast paced post-surgical unit that averages 10-15 admissions per day with the highest occurring on Day/PM. Occupancy of unit is90-95 % during the week with average length of stay 2 - 3 days (except joints). Requirements include, but are not limited to:
  Active WI RN or Compact License.
  2 years of Med Surg experience
  Travel experience
  Epic experience
  BLS (AHA) Certification
  Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
