*Medical Assistant Podiatry Coordinator - Pay & Perks:*

*Medical Assistant Podiatry Coordinator - Qualifications:*
* Current WI LPN license or graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
* Ability to interpret payer policies and guidelines
* Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology
* PC/typing and telephone experience
* Excellent customer relations, organization, planning and prioritization skills
* Experience with DME, prior Epic experience; and previous experience in a clinic setting preferred.

*Medical Assistant Podiatry Coordinator - Responsibilities:*
* Maintains necessary paperwork for department related to Orthopedics, DME, AFO
* Verifies patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage,
* Supplies information to payers including medical information and/or a letter of medical necessity for determination of benefits
* Ensures prior certification, authorization, and referral requirements are met prior to delivery of services
* Ensures compliance with payer contracts
* Documents necessary information in patient's medical record
* Serves as back up for rooming patients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.87 - $25.19 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
