You will work at the University Hospital at 600 Highland Drive in Madison, WI.Pay :This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonusBe part of something remarkableJoin the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking a Health Psychologist to:Deliver health and behavior interventions to patients receiving inpatient medical care at University Hospital as part of a consultation-liaison service.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based best practice in health psychology, focusing on adjustment to hospitalization, coping with new medical diagnoses, processing poor prognosis, non-pharmacological pain management, grief, and related issues. Consultation is provided to patients on services across the hospital including Hematology/Oncology, Trauma Surgery, Cardiothoracic units, Neurosurgery, Neurology, transplant services, and Vascular Surgery, among others.
