As a Registered Nurse at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment. Our hospital is a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operated jointly by Lifepoint Health in partnership with UW Health and UnityPoint Health - Meriter. We strive to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Your Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  
• Provide care that is tailored to the condition and age of the patient.
  
• Document medical necessity in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
  
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  
  Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
    
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
    
  • CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
    
  • CRRN Preferred
    
  • At least six months of experience in a medical/surgical setting, preferably in an acute care environment.
