Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Veterinarian
to join our team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives
in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to making a
meaningful impact in the lives of animals and their families. Our
surgical caseload includes a wide variety of procedures, from
routine soft tissue surgeries to more advanced orthopedic and
ophthalmic cases. Surgical Procedures Include (but are not limited
to): Soft Tissue Surgeries : Mass Removals, Cystotomies, Abdominal
Exploratory with and with out Foreign Bodies, Gastropexies, Anal
Sacculectomy, Perineal Urethrostomy. Orthopedic Surgeries:
Amputations, Extracapsular ALC Repairs, Femoral Head Osteotomy
Ocular Surgeries: Entropion/Ectropion, Enucleation, Cherry Eye
Repair We are also set up to do Fracture Repairs, if we have
someone interested in doing them. With the support of a Certified
Veterinary Technician (CVT) and an assistant, the surgical
veterinarian is expected to perform 4-5 surgeries per day,
depending on case complexity. Key Responsibilities: Perform a
variety of soft tissue, orthopedic, and ophthalmic surgeries with
efficiency and precision. Work closely with support staff to
maintain a high standard of patient care and ensure a smooth
surgical workflow. Provide client education on post-operative care
and realistic expectations based on a spectrum of care approach.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in accordance with
best practices and clinic policies. What We Offer: A supportive,

degree from an accredited veterinary school. Surgical proficiency
in a variety of procedures; advanced surgical training or
experience preferred. Licensed (or ability to obtain licensure) to
practice veterinary medicine in the state. Passion for spectrum of
care veterinary medicine and making a difference in the community.
Strong ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.
