  • Job Details
  • Working Monday to Friday from 0700-1530 rotating into 1000-1830 with weeknight, weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities.
  • Experience: Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Ambulatory and Pedi General OR experience required.
  • We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure care is delivered with a mixture of technological expertise and a positive commitment to meeting patient and family needs.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
  • Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient's level of complexity.
    • Job Requirements
    • Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
    • Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Proof of one Tdap vaccination from adulthood is required if working at American Family Children's Hospital. A 10-year update is not mandatory.
          • Additional Details
          • Required per Vaya standard.
          • Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position. Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
          • Required for clinical positions only. Must be issued by American Heart Association (AHA). Renewals: Certificates of Completion/Attestation showing proof that renewal was completed will be accepted and allow candidate to continue working while they wait for a copy of their new card.
