  • Job Details
  • Tier 5 GU/GYN/Transplant position in Surgical Services.
  • 3x12 hour shifts from 0640-1910, with potential for 11a-11p shifts if staffing requires.
  • Weekday and weekend call required.
  • The Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room prior to surgery, promotes patient safety during surgery, assists the surgeon, and cares for instruments and supplies.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
    • Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
    • Floating - Travelers are the first to be assigned shifts in multiple units based on staffing needs.
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 hour shifts from 0640-1910, may include 11a-11p shifts if needed.
      • Weekday and weekend call required.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Check Unit Description to determine certifications required.
          • Additional Details
          • BLS certification required through American Heart Association.
          • Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is a requirement of the position.
          • National Certification/Verification within 30 days of start & upon expiration is preferred.
