qualified Med/Surg RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792 Pay Information
$2,561 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience:
Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three
years in the specialty. License: Nursing license required or
compact license from permanent address state. Certifications: Basic
Life Support (BLS) certified through American Heart Association.
Must-Have: Basic Arrhythmia experience, tracheostomy, and surgical
experience. Description: Work includes Sunday through Saturday,
some holidays based on unit needs, and weekend rotation will be
discussed during the interview. Experience in gynecology, urology,
plastic, and colorectal is preferred. Join a dynamic unit caring
for patients across four specialties. Every day brings a unique
challenge, honing your skills and expanding your knowledge base. Be
part of an innovative interdisciplinary team supporting and
educating patients undergoing specialized procedures like free flap
monitoring for breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Provide
patient and family education following urinary diversion surgeries
to help patients care for themselves at home. Witness the impact of
your care firsthand, playing a vital role in their recovery and
well-being. This unit provides excellent airway management
experience, including new tracheostomies, for RNs who may want to
work in the critical care setting in the future. Travelers may have
shifts scheduled in multiple units based on current staffing needs
or different locations within the organization. During the traveler
assignment, if the primary unit no longer requires staff, shifts
will be re-assigned to another unit to complete the contract.
Facility requirement: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles
from assigned primary work site location. Flu vaccine required,
