Job Description:
Your ResponsibilitiesThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is
responsible for the financial strategy, planning, and management of
the organization. This includes overseeing all financial
activities, ensuring compliance with non-profit regulations, and
working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Board of
Directors to ensure the financial integrity and sustainability of
the organization. The CFO will provide strategic recommendations
based on financial analysis and projections, prepare all financial
reports, and manage financial risks of the organization. Additional
responsibilities include:Develop and implement financial strategies
that support the organizations mission and goals.Oversee the
preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and
metrics for funders, the Board of Directors, and the organizations
leadership.Create and manage the annual budget and forecast
process, including long-term financial planningProvide financial
analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and
business driversEnsure compliance with all applicable laws,
accounting standards, and financial regulations, including IRS
regulations for non-profitsMaintain appropriate internal controls
and financial proceduresManage the organizations financial risk,
including overseeing insurance policies, investment strategies, and
reserve funds.Liaise with auditors and ensure annual audits are
conducted in a timely and efficient mannerPrepare and present
financial statements, reports, and forecasts to the Board of
Directors, finance committee, and other stakeholdersCommunicate the
financial health of the organization to the Senior Leadership Team
and Board of Directors, ensuring they are informed of financial
trends and key performance indicatorsCollaborate with program
directors and department heads to align financial management with
programmatic and organizational goalsLead and manage the finance
team, including hiring, training, and performance management.Foster
a collaborative and supportive environment within the finance
teamServe as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team,
contributing to overall strategic planning and organizational
developmentWork closely with the Senior Leadership Team to
strategize and support fundraising initiativesOversee financial
aspects of grant management, including budgeting, tracking, and
reportingEnsure the organizations financial operations align with
donor expectations and funding requirementsOther duties as

management software and toolsExcellent leadership and team
management skillsStrong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and

Makes You Stand OutMaster's degreeMinimum of 3 5 years of
experience in financial management in a non-profit organization
highly desiredStrong knowledge of non-profit accounting, financial
management, and reporting requirementCertified Public Accountant
