Education: Mechanical Engineering degree is required
Experience: 2-4 years experience doing the same work
**Additional Manager notes**
These candidates will be managing data quality, running test, and
analyzing data. These candidates will need to be hands on and
interface with test requestors. Someone with a coding background is
a bonus. The manager would like 2-4 years experience doing the
same. Mechanical Engineering degree is required. When the manager
is ready the interviews will be done onsite. These positions are
onsite.
Summary:
Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical
devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other
engineering information.
Typically has a high school diploma or GED. Possesses technical
skills, including the knowledge of design techniques and blueprint
reading
Education/Experience
Bachelor degree in engineering required
2-4 years experience required
Responsibility level
Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from
supervisor
Skills
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and
problem solving ability (Required)
Team player and detail oriented (Required)
Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common
computations (Typically required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing,
schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required)
Previous experience with computer applications and software related
to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)
(Typically required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines,
machines and other mechanical devices
Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications,
manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete
projects
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty
operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew
Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products
using tools, equipment or software.
